Evidence-Based Leadership: Backed by 25 years of original research and data from over 3 million leaders, The Leadership Challenge® is a leadership development program by bestselling authors Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner.
Our point of view is simple, really. We believe Leadership is Everyone’s Business! What do we mean by that?
In today’s world there are countless opportunities to make a difference. And more than ever there is a need for people of all ages, from all backgrounds, with all types of life experience to seize those opportunities that lead to greatness. More than ever there is a need for leaders to inspire us to dream, to participate, and to persevere. The Leadership Challenge offers everyone the chance to do just that – to take the initiative and make a difference.
The Leadership Challenge is about how leaders mobilize others to want to get extraordinary things done. It’s about the practices leaders use to transform values into actions, visions into realities, obstacles into innovations, separateness into solidarity, and risks into rewards. It’s about a climate in which people turn challenging opportunities into remarkable successes.
360 degree feedback:
From new managers to senior executives—no matter where they are in their leadership development journey—360-degree feedback is a valuable gift.
People Test System:
People Test Systems A/S provides managers in businesses and organizations with the best possible tool to identify, match, motivate and retain employees.
The product and method are specifically tailored to the business community, for managers to use in cooperation with the Human Resources department. While it is the responsibility of the HR department to attract new talent, it is the responsibility of the manager to retain it. Hence, it is necessary to know what drive and motivate employees and managers. Using People Test System as a strategic management tool, managers can strengthen efficiency, job satisfaction and finally yet importantly retain employees.
Belbin Team Roles:
Ever wondered why some teams just seem to work and others hit the rocks? When things don’t work, it is obvious to all and it often has a profound effect on the people involved, as well as the project or objective to be achieved.
In the 1970s, Dr Meredith Belbin and his research team at Henley Management College set about observing teams, with a view to finding out where and how these differences come about. They wanted to control the dynamics of teams to discover if – and how – problems could be pre-empted and avoided. As the research progressed, the research revealed that the difference between success and failure for a team was not dependent on factors such as intellect, but more onbehaviour. The research team began to identify separate clusters of behaviour, each of which formed distinct team contributions or “Team Roles.”
The Basadur Creative Problem Solving Profile is a tool designed to help an individual, team or organization understand how to increase creativity and innovation in a supportive environment.
Applied creativity is the key to innovation. We can’t be innovative – as individuals or as organizations – if we don’t allow ourselves to think differently, question our assumptions or take calculated risks. Creativity and innovation allow us to anticipate what our customers want, to develop and market new products and services ahead of our competitors, to create and maintain competitive advantage. They are essential ingredients for any organization’s continued success in the marketplace.
Everyone one of us is creative, no matter what job we are doing. We simply demonstrate our creativity in different ways. The challenge is making sure that we can express our creativity by fostering a work environment where new ideas are welcomed, where trying something different is encouraged, and where making mistakes is recognized as an important part of learning.
